MWMC Land Use Planning and Landscape Improvements

CMGS is currently providing assistance to MWMC in obtaining Conditional Use, Willamette Greenway, and Standards Review permit approvals for future improvements to the WPCF.  CMGS originally prepared the Landscape Improvements and Environmental Enhancements report for the WPCF.  The report contains long-term management goals and recommendations aimed at increasing environmental sustainability, reducing or reusing water, eliminating native and invasive species, preserving and protecting trees, and restoring the riparian corridor abutting the Willamette River. The report forms the basis for the landscape improvements included in permit drawings submitted to the City. As part of land use and environmental permitting services, CMGS provided environmental analysis and findings related to Goal 5 resources, protection of non-Goal 5 resources, tree protection and preservation, and landscape restoration to support local land use approvals.
