LTD EmX Eugene/Springfield, Oregon AIA/SWO Design Award - 1st Place Landscape Architecture
CMGS is the landscape architect of record on phases I and II of LTD’s EmX project and, preceding that, were employed by LTD during the master planning and public input phase of the project as its visioning and initial designs were being developed. Phase 1 of the project incorporated 8 new stations and “EmX only” transit guideways and lanes. Landscape architecture services included station plantings, grassy stormwater filtration strips in the guideways, street tree plantings, and design of landscape medians incorporating trees, shrubs, groundcovers and perennial plantings providing seasonal variation, interest, and color.
